As quartet in residence at the Curtis Institute of Music, the Dover Quartet will appear nationally and internationally via Curtis On Tour through the 2013-14 season, in addition to maintaining an active performing schedule apart from Curtis. The quartet's members will also mentor participants in Curtis's Young Artists Initiative. Previously the Dover Quartet was graduate string quartet in residence at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music in Houston, Texas.

The faculty members participating in Curtis Summerfest’s Chamber Music for Adult Musicians program perform in this recital to begin the weekend of rehearsals and performances. This recital features classical music performed in a fun and friendly atmosphere and gives attendees a chance to get to know the artists they weill be working with throughout the weekend.
