Experience the extraordinary this summer in our new concert series featuring distinguished chamber musicians from the Curtis Summerfest faculty! These remarkable artists, many of them Curtis alumni, perform a variety of repertoire-from beloved classics to the music of today-in the timeless setting of Field Concert Hall.

Hear Jessica Lee (Violin ’01) and Peter Stumpf (Cello ’85), members of the Johannes Quartet, alongside other Curtis Summerfest faculty in Dvorák’s transformative String Quartet No. 2. Beloved Philadelphia recitalist Charles Abramovic (Piano ’76) performs Mendelssohn’s first sonata for cello and piano with Angela Park (Cello ’07), principal cellist of the Seoul Philharmonic. The program also includes works by Manoury and Vinao, performed by the young percussionists of the Arx Duo.

Amy Lee (’05), associate concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Priscilla Lee (’03), principal cello of Opera Philadelphia, join with other Curtis Summerfest faculty in works by Dvorák and David Ludwig, artistic director of the Young Artist Summer Program. YASP Program Director Amy Yang (Piano ’06) and Charles Abramovic (Piano ’76) play a Poulenc sonata; and Debussy’s Trio for Flute, Viola, and Harp is performed by Mimi Stillman (Flute ’99), Toby Appel (Viola ’70), and Kim Rowe.
